Is it easy to install the GlideWise canopy flasher?
Yes, the GlideWise canopy flasher is designed to be easy to install, provided you carefully follow the instructions in our installation guide. If you have any questions during installation, you can contact us for support. Alternatively, you can have it installed by your local workshop or a specialist. Please note that GlideWise does not provide installation services.
Do you offer flashers for side-opening canopies?
At the moment, we only offer flashers for front-opening canopies. However, we’re excited to announce that the first batch of side-opening canopy flashers is expected to be available in January or February 2025. Pre-orders are accepted.
Why are GlideWise canopy flashers more affordable than the competition?
Because GlideWise is based in the UK, there are no import duties or VAT for UK customers. This ensures UK glider pilots and clubs pay prices comparable to what European customers pay for flashers made in Germany.
Are you VAT registered?
No, we’re not currently VAT registered, which means the price you see is the price you pay—no additional VAT added. If you are a business buying in bulk and need to reclaim VAT, contact us at info@glidewise.co.uk.
Do you sell GlideWise canopy flashers outside the UK?
Currently, we only sell to UK customers. However, if you’re outside the UK and interested in purchasing a GlideWise canopy flasher, please contact us at info@glidewise.co.uk.
